" Once Dismissed "
by Suzán Jiván
Mom & Mom-
Mom Suzán
Once dismissed
deepening rifts printed in
national late editions
yet seen as too tepid
plus not tough enough
for renegade crusaders
while pig organs
are assailed to be safe
real game changers
unfolding as clones
along dizzying
demilitarized zones
during promotions
of rogue missile programs
as our only hope
bold untruths be told as foretold
in "The Show of Shows"
played for absolutely no one
showcasing growth-hormoned
wack-a-moles their pre-chosen
super heroes in holes far far from home
like buck-toothed theater goers
crouching low in the front row
just off of the straight-and-narrow
at the end of the premiere episode
of "Getting Torpedoed"
under appreciated like "whoa-is-mes"...
