imploring
approaching
storms
as swarming
apocalyptic thoughts
but, we could be wrong

peering over borders
mortared walls
hurricane forces
unsealed reports
of the long
and the short of it
falling short
short falls
exhaustion

reaping rewards
for financial offers
of violent contact sports
causing scoreboard discord
told to mandatorily flee north
as a foil to getting to the breaking point
calling, "All shore that's going ashore!"

yet feeling worn to the core
exclaiming, "What took so long?!"
cause no one really fails anymore
they're just, "out performed"
during extorted encores
having once been ruled,
" Out of Order! "...
