tangled stems wrenching overhead
terrestrial tremblings surging seas
still to tease stearing over former years
beneath roof trees fitful chimneys
scarcely heeded howling wakened hounds
rain drops ploughing harrowing stick-built houses
scouring caverns underground
clouds and hills around less loud
more profound willow boughs
crowding from our marred arms outwards...
